I feel like I’ve gotten to know Erin and Greg pretty well leading up to their wedding. If you happen to know them, then you know what I mean when I say I couldn’t be happier or more excited for them and their new marriage. Erin has such an outgoing, lovable personality. Greg is so genuine and sincerely nice. They made me feel so welcomed at their wedding and considered me another member of the bridal party. They trusted me and let me guide the limo driver around to each destination, which is a lot more control over locations than I usually have at weddings. It resulted in tons and tons of photos. The entertainment at the reception was AMAZING. It was a dueling piano act that was highly interactive, which made for some fun shots. (Someone remind me the name of the act??) I’d really like to share the entire wedding, but here’s literally just a few. Thanks so much Erin and Greg!! And congrats!!!
Meet Madeline. We shot on a fairly cold, cloudy day. But what can I say? I’ve been so lucky with all my clients doing what it takes for the sake of photos. Madeline was so relaxed and comfortable even though she had to be freezing! I loved the contrast of her graceful ballerina self in front of some yummy urban backdrops. Not sure much else needs to be said about the photos, I think they’ll speak for themselves.
Thanks everyone for your patience with my blogging. Between the holidays, moving out of my old studio and tons of wedding editing I haven’t had much time for this bloggerooskie (yes, I did just type that…it’s late). But busy season is slowly coming to an end. I think Liz is kind of excited for me to be away from my computer a little more often.![]()

Oh my gosh, I just can’t get over how awesome these guys were! It was a cold, wet, very windy day. There I was wearing a jacket and I was freezing!
I about died when they arrived dressed perfectly. They drove out from Dubuque and Cedar Rapids for the session as a surprise Christmas gift for their parents. So if you happen to know their family, SHHH!!![]()

I didn’t think it was possible, but it happened. I photographed him a year ago and he was SO fast. Luckily, I think I got a little quicker with my shutter finger.
We were, however, able to get him to cooperate for a couple of poses. His favorite thing was yelling “CHEESEBUUUUUURGER!!!!” Yes, that’s what he was doing in this first photo.

The shot of his mom kissing his cheek..LOVE IT! He looks like a fast little guy, but tooo dang cute!! Awesome work Ryan
I love this crazy kid!!! It’s fun when they are nutso! Happy Thanksgiving.
