Chris is one of those rare friends that pushes you to become the best and wants to be the first to congratulate you when you do succeed. I’ve been friends with Chris since high school and roomed with him sophomore year of college. Well, that is until the day I came home and asked him what the heck he was doing skipping class that day, only to have him reply “I’m moving out to LA to pursue acting.” Of course I thought he was totally joking. But that’s exactly what he did. I think most people would agree that if someone tells you they’re going to LA to become an actor, you’d think to yourself that it’s highly unlikely that they’d succeed. I didn’t feel that in the least with Chris. He dreams big, but he’s one of the most determined people I know. Naturally, he did find some success out in LA. It was out in LA where he met his wife Meredith. They were both acting among other things. They even appeared in the movie Sex and the City and were credited as the “kissing couple.” (Sorry guys, I still haven’t brought myself to watch that movie). The rush of seeing him in shows like CSI and Brothers and Sisters was simply awesome. I’ve since gotten to know Meredith and it’s so obvious they’re perfect for each other. They both dream big and push each other to be the best people they can. They’re no longer acting, but fill their time with things like flipping houses, joining the Air Force, finishing college degrees among many other things I can’t even keep track of.
Chris was one of the people that really inspired me and pushed me to pursue photography back when I was first starting out. It’s funny to look back on how scared I was to make that leap, but I remember Chris just acting like it wasn’t even a question; I should just go for it if that’s where my heart was. I owe a lot of who I am to Chris and am so thankful for having him as a friend.
Here’s the beautiful couple. Oh, it was SO cold out! It was Meredith’s first time seeing snow.
more magic from your lens!! but SERIOUSLY?? How DID you get this guy into a suit and tie?? Handsome!
Thank you Sheri!! And the suit and tie was totally his idea. Well…maybe a little encouragement from mom.
