Whitney & Dayton… Married!!
Whitney and Dayton got married at a tree farm in Nebraska. I was so blown away by their love and how perfect the day was. Several times throughout the day, I thought it felt like something out of a movie. Whitney gets huge props for finding a location to shoot at sunset. After the ceremony, we traveled to an abandoned barn area. It was about a 30 or 40 minute drive to get to and we only had about 15 minutes to shoot there, but it was incredible and totally worth it. Congrats Whitney and Dayton!!
Portraits are usually what I get most excited about, but I LOVE this detail shot.
Dayton’s face while Whitney was walking down the aisle was priceless…
Instead of a unity candle or unity sand, they had a unity cord.
Okay, I had to post this photo on the left because I’m still cracking up about it. I believe the story behind their pose is basically when Dayton first told Whitney he liked her, she replied only with this look and a finger pointed at him. Don’t you just love them??
OH. MY. GOSH. I’m pretty sure I freaked out pretty hard after shooting these. I knew right away they’d be my favorites.
I’m going to go ahead and say it, I loved that Whitney rocked the birdcage veil. There, it’s been said and it feels good.
No, I did not ask them to run. But who am I to argue if they want to go for a run on their wedding day???
So the photo on the right is what we were running to. I can’t remember exactly, but one of the groomsmen either hates or loves puns… either way, it was reason enough to run to get the shot.
Ryan you’re such a super talent! These are amazing.
I don’t usually comment on blogs – but I love your style! I think you should post at ILP more often!
These have such a magazine quality to them. LOVE them all.
